Suspected Abduction Case at Fukiage Beach

Please　give　us　information　regarding　a　suspected　abduction　case　of　a　Japanese　couple

On August 12, 1978, at Fukiage Beach in Hioki City (Hioki County at the time of the incident), Kagoshima Prefecture, Mr.Shuichi Ichikawa（then-23-years-old）and Ms. Rumiko Masumoto(then-24-years-old）went missing and they have not been seen nor heard from since that day.

Kagoshima Prefectural Police has been investigating the case, suspecting that they have been abducted by and taken to North Korea.
