Public Announcement regarding FY2025 Nuclear Disaster Prevention Drill（Part 6）【English,Chinese,Korean,Vietnamese】

This is a drill.

We will inform you of the outcome of the 2nd Prefectural Disaster Management
Headquarters Council.

1. There are no abnormal readings from the environmental radiation monitoring
stations. Additionally, an Emergency Monitoring Center was established at
Satsumasendai City’s Off-site Center.

2. As a result of a Site Emergency being declared, and according to the national
government’s orders, the following response guideline has been determined:

①Persons in the PAZ who require special assistance should evacuate to
Kagoshima City and/or Aira City. Evacuate by means of your personal vehicle if possible,
or by bus if necessary.
② Those who did not receive pre-distributed stable iodine supplements should receive
doses at evacuation bus meeting points.
③ Persons who risk increased health concerns by evacuating should shelter at an
indoor facility that has taken protective measures against radiation exposure.
④ Residents in the PAZ (excluding persons who require special care) should prepare
to evacuate. Residents in the UPZ should prepare to shelter indoors.

We will keep you informed as necessary, so please calmly follow the instructions of your local
municipal government.
