Public Announcement regarding FY2025 Nuclear Disaster Prevention Drill（Part 12）【English,Chinese,Korean,Vietnamese】

This is a drill.

Emergency monitoring indicates that as of 11:00 AM, the air radiation dose rate
continues to exceed 20μSv/h in areas including Onobuchi in Satsumasendai City.
As this value meets the criteria of Operational Intervention Level (OIL) 2, areas
from which residents must temporarily relocate are identified within one day, and
residents must temporarily relocate within a week. The national government has
issued the following instructions:

1. Residents of:
Satsumasendai City: Onobuchi area, Noze area
Satsuma Town: Sashi area
Once temporary relocation preparations have been completed, receive stable
iodine and temporarily relocate within one week.
When temporarily relocating, proceed by way of an evacuation exit inspection
point.

2. Refrain from shipping or intaking local products produced from areas listed in
#1 above.
3. Residents of the areas listed in #1 above should continue to pay attention to
information from disaster announcement systems, radio, TV, etc.

Other instructions remain as follows:

1. Residents in the PAZ should receive the distributed dose of stable iodine and
evacuate ss soon as evacuation preparations are completed. However, those
who risk increased health concerns by evacuating should continue to shelter
indoors with their caregivers until they can evacuate safely.
2. Residents in the UPZ should shelter indoors. However, if it is difficult to shelter
indoors at your residence due to damage from the earthquake etc., please
shelter indoors at the nearest safe designated evacuation shelter
3. Residents and visitors within the PAZ and UPZ should continue to pay attention to
information from disaster announcement systems, radio, TV, etc.

When temporarily relocating, calmly follow the instructions of your local municipal
government.
